I believe the words of Carl bard which says that though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
Most of us wallow so much in the past that the future eludes us. How true when Oscar wilde said that no man is rich enough to buy back his past. Take or leave it, the more you look back the less you will get ahead. No matter how your past was, your future contains more happiness than any past you can remember. Listen to mike Murdock and stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you can be. Regret is an appalling waste of energy and depression deprives you of happiness.
Depression brings about stagnation in your life; a place of no progress. When this happens, you stop growing and start dying. No matter what the situation is, encourage yourself in God like David and create a plan of action. Instead of fighting the way your situation is, surrender to the truth of the way it is. Then take your time and act wisely. When you take actions, life starts working and hope is generated. Remember that though your circumstance might not change, you can always change for your circumstance and that might just be what is needed.
Finally, continuous unflagging effort, persistence and determination will win; let no man be discouraged who has these (Whitcomb Riley). Never forsake the Lord because when God is all that you have, then he is all that you need.
